Field trip to the Pumpkin Patch

2019    Tour Dates

Tuesday, October 1st -- Friday, October 25th

We save Oct. 28th - 31st for rain out dates only.

Reservations are required. Minimum group size is 15 paying guests.

Admission 

$9.00 per person - students and adults

We allow one FREE teacher/chaperone per 10 paying children. 

Price includes tour, a child-size pumpkin and souvenir tote bag.

Activities include

  • Wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin.

  • Learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin.

  • Play time on the giant jumping pillow, 100' slide, rail rollers, and farmer foosball.

  • Visit our farm animals at Animal Acres

Lunch

Groups may add a hotdog lunch to their tour for an additional $4.00 per child. Lunch includes hotdog, souvenir pumpkin sipper filled with orange Kool-Aid, and chips. Number of lunches needed must be provided 3 days in advance of your tour.

Reservations

Reservations can now be made online. Click the link provided to see available dates and times.  A $27 deposit will be charged at the time of your booking and will later be deducted from the total amount you owe when you arrive for your field trip. Frequently asked questions

How long is the tour?  The Pumpkin Patch tour last approximately an hour and a half.

What times are tours available? Tours begin every 15 minutes starting at 9:00 a.m. 

May we eat lunch at the farm? Yes, you are welcome to bring your lunch and eat at the farm during school tours. We also offer a convenient hotdog lunch option that may be added to the cost of your tour (see above). Our picnic space is limited and tables are available on a first come, first served basis. 

What should we wear?  Please realize you are coming to a farm! There will be mud if it has been raining. Wear old shoes and do not wear open-toed shoes (no flip-flops).  It may be COLD in the morning and HOT in the afternoon during October so dress accordingly. 

Is there a minimum group size? Yes, we require a minimum of 20 paid admissions to schedule a tour. If you do not have enough for the minimum group, consider bringing your group on Columbus Day (Oct. 14th). No reservations are required.

Homeschool groups?  Each year we set aside one day for Homeschool groups to tour the Pumpkin Patch. This year the date is Monday, October 14th, 2019.
